Credit Card Simulator You're approved-- play the game to see if you can handle a credit card.

The H&R Block Dollars & Sense National Challenge - encourages DECA members to test their skills at managing their personal financial wealth. This competition is a free event for dues paying DECA members.

How to Do Your Banking helps high school students develop basic personal finance concepts and banking skills. Students learn to prepare a budget, manage a checking account, and use electronic banking. They explore savings account choices and strategies, coupound interest, credit costs, and credit rating. Role-play simulations, sample forms, exercises and tests are included, as well as a supplemental CD and video.

JA BANKS IN ACTION is a volunteer-led program built around eight classroom sessions. Students learn the fundamentals of banking from a bank employee's perspective, then apply what they learn in a competitive environment using a computer simulation. Students also explore the history of banking, its products and services, short and long-term interest rates, loan applications, and careers in banking.

MAKE ME AN OFFER, challenges students to identify goods that were traded between Lewis and Clark and the American Indians during the Corps of Discovery. Students also explore ways to carry out trade for their needs and wants in a class simulation. The United States Mint H.I.P. Pocket Change™ Web site offers free educational resources including games, cartoons, lesson plans, and classroom activities.

MAKING THE RIGHT MONEY MOVES helps high school students develop basic personal finance concepts and skills. Students learn to prepare a budget, manage a checking account, and use electronic funds. They explore savings account choices and strategies, compound interest, credit costs, and credit rating. Three role-play simulations, sample forms, exercises, and tests are included, plus a supplemental video and CD. Emphasis on credit unions as financial service providers.

MoneySkill - MoneySKILL is a free online reality based personal finance course for young adults. A life simulation module asks students to project their own financial life expectancies in areas such as employment, housing, transportation, education, marriage, family and retirement.

MONEY VERSUS TRADE is an online lesson plan for Grade 2. Using the book "Ox-Cart Man", by Donald Hall, students learn about barter and trade. They complete worksheets on the disadvantages of the barter system and plan a game of money exchange in a market simulation.

SHOW ME THE FUTURE is a financial literacy and life skills game, a simulation designed to help 12-20 year olds prepare for their futures. The game helps players understand the cost of living, budgeting, the difference between wants and needs, the importance of financial planning, the need to set career goals, and the value of higher education. This game can be used in the classroom and at home. Users are encouraged to play over and over, as they will have different identities each time, helping them base their choices on varying circumstances.

Stock Market Simulation - The Stock Market Simulation (SMS ) gives students the chance to invest a hypothetical $100,000 in an on-line portfolio.

Euro Challenge - An exciting educational competition and opportunity for high school students to learn about the European Union and the euro.
