Stock Market Simulation Essay Competition

Spring Simulation Deadline:
Entries must be postmarked by April 12, 2008.




Students participating in the Stock Market Simulation are invited to submit an entry in the Stock Market
Simulation Essay Contest.

Students will write on the following topic:

Describe the three most important lessons you learned from your participation in the Stock Market Simulation.



Rules
:

1. Entries can be hand-written or typed.
Please write legibly. If typed, please format as follows: 12 point TImes New Roman, double spaced, one inch margins.

2. Entries must not exceed 500 words.

3. Papers should be well organized.

4. Proper grammar and correct spelling is a factor.

5. All entries must be postmarked by November 24th for the fall simulation.

6. An entry form must accompany each submission.




AWARDS:  

Awards will be given for both the Junior (K-8) Division and the Senior (9-12) Division 

  • First Place: $100, certificate, and recognition at the SMS Banquet
  • Second Place: $50, certificate, and recognition at the SMS Banquet
  • Third Place: $25, certificate, and recognition at the SMS Banquet
