  • The Artist as Entrepreneur - This series of lessons is designed for high school students who are interested in learning more about art as a business.
  • Buy, Use, Toss? A Closer Look at the Things We Buy - Includes a series of ten fully-planned lessons designed for grades 9-12. Lead your students through an exploration of the production and consumption of goods - a system called the materials economy. Students critically analyze the sustainability of the steps of this system, determining how consumption can benefit people, economies, and environments.
  • Brass|Magazine Teacher Resource Center (TRC) - Search for classroom activities by keyword, subject or issue. Each lesson plan includes national and state (NY, OR, WI) standards for personal financial literacy.

    Wisconsin credit unions provide free to all 606 of Wisconsin's public high schools the brass|STUDENT PROGRAM. All of Wisconsin’s public high schools receive classroom sets of the magazine. If you have questions about whether or not your school is receiving brass, contact Laura Edmonston.Classroom sets of the magazine will be shipped to public schools in September, November and February. Teachers registered on the TRC will have access to the May Digital Edition.

  • Learning, Earning, and Investing - Offers a wide array of current data, investment education links, downloadable classroom visuals, interactive lessons and classroom-tested print lessons to teach the benefits of and strategies for long-term investing success.
  • Merrill Lynch Investing Pays Off Curriculum - Choose from Curriculum geared for ages 7-10, 11-14, or 15-18.
  • McREL - Grades 9-12. Organized under thematic topics. All lessons are standards based and use research proven instructional strategies.

  • National Endowment for Financial Education Clearinghouse - The materials listed on the Clearinghouse are sorted into subject areas on a variety of financial topics. Access teacher guides and classroom materials to provide financial education programs.

  • NEFE High School Financial Planning Program® - The HSFPP consists of a seven unit student manual, instructor's guide, and a dynamic suite of Web pages that offer a large, continually growing collection of resources, articles, and financial tools for teachers, students, and parents.
